A bearded man sat on the side of the road in Mumbai. His beard was mottled, but unfortunately, the hair on his head was beginning to thin. His beard was much more voluminous than the amount of hair he had.
I don't have much trouble with thinning beards, and no one makes fun of me for having a thin beard. But in the case of my hair, things are different. Why is that? I think there is an assumption that all women, men, and children are supposed to have hair on their heads. There's nothing there that should be there. That's why some people make fun of it.
When I pointed the camera at the bearded man, he stared at me with his mouth tied in a straight line. He looked as if he was going to say "What's the problem?"
