Street vendors were opening shops on the sidewalk in Jakarta. Many of them were selling miscellaneous items. Well, the atmosphere was more like a flea market than a street market because most of the items were not new. The customers who were looking at the items on display did not seem to have come here to look at them. They seemed to be looking at them as they happened to be passing by.
Nevertheless, it seems to be the same in every country that once people start looking, they are eager to see what's on offer, and there were people who stopped to look at the products on display. You could call them to be waster. The customer gets a fleeting pleasure in exchange for wasting his money, and the street vendor gets a few sales. It's a win-win deal.
If the adults are too busy gazing at the wares, it was nothing to do for children who have been following their parents. The products on the stalls were all geared toward adults, and there was nothing to excite children's minds. It could be boring. As they had no choice but to look around, it was understandable that children were embarrassed when they suddenly saw a camera.
