When I was walking down an alley in Ho Chi Minh City, I saw some elementary school students on their way home from school. They seemed to loiter their way home. When I looked at them, I saw that they were all children and there were no parents or guardians in sight. It seems that it is not common to take children to and from school like in Japan.
The two girls and a boy in this photo were leaving school together. The boy with a cap on was very cheerful. When I pointed the camera at him, he would pose for me in various ways every time I released the shutter. And every time he posed, the girls laughed. A boy like him must be very popular.
