Both boys were stripped to the waists
I walked a country road alone. While walking, a boy came to me. He was stripped to his waist and holding his little brother in his arms. Perhaps, he noticed me during he looked after his little brother.
Although he came to me because he was interested in my camera, he got shy. When I held my camera, he smiled bashfully. And he started to be looking into the distance. On the other hand, the little brother threw a wondering look at me. Apart from his big brother, he might not be scared.
