The man in this photo was lazy and relax on the edge of the sidewalk. He didn't do business. He just sat there. Perhaps, he waited for someone. Anyway, a relaxed time flew around him. He wore a striped shirt and a Longyi. Longyi is a common garment which was worn by many Burmese locals here. I saw many people wearing it during walking around. Seemingly, it is similar to Lungi in South Asian countries. Because the senses of language were also quite similar to each other, the origins might be equivalent.
After the democratization, Myanmar drew in a lot of foreign capital. And the country started to emerge. Yet this country seemed to have still enough leeway to emerge because there were some people loafing around by the roadside during the day like this man.
