I was walking along a gravel road on the outskirts of town, across the Mekong River from Luang Prabang. I am not sure if there is anything to be found as we continue onward. But considering that there were a few locals walking along the gravel road, there was probably something there. I believed so and continued on my way. The girl in the photo is one I met along the way. She was pedaling a bicycle on an unpaved road, a little bigger than her body, and she was pedaling frantically. When I pointed my camera at her, she gave me a bashful smile.
