Shot at Ueno Park in Ueno, Tokyo.
There is a Shinto shrine called Ueno Toshogu in the park which was a former family plot of the Tokugawa Shogunate. Ieyasu Tokugawa who was the founder of the Tokugawa shogunate and some other Shogun are enshrined here.
It was not a popular destination for the visitors. And the gate stood obscurely in a corner of the park. When I stopped in front of the gate, I saw a man entering the shrine. He was silhouetted on the other side of the gate.
