I don't think it's well known, but there is Toshogu Shrine in Ueno Park as well. When I say Toshogu Shrine, I imagine it's in Nikko, but there is one in Ueno. Ieyasu Tokugawa is also enshrined in Toshogu Shrine in Ueno Park, just because it is called Toshogu Shrine. However, I heard that not only Ieyasu but also Yoshimune and Keiki are enshrined here. It is very interesting that the first and last shoguns of the Tokugawa shogunate are enshrined together. Even after becoming a god, I'm worried that Keiki might be scolded by Ieyasu.
The gate of Ueno Toshogu stands quietly in a corner of Ueno Park. As I stood in front of the gate, I saw a man entering through the gate. The man's figure was silhouetted.
