The school girl sat at the desk in the corner of the shop
Along the canal, some shops and restaurants for the tourists did business. Although I caught a faint whiff of theatricals, the atmosphere was nice at the same time. A ferry passed by with a big splash ever and again. The village was a nice place to feel the pastoral atmosphere.
When I passed by one of the restaurants, I found a figure sitting inside. A no-smoking sign was stuck on the wall. The figure was a school girl and she sat at the desk to study. I thought chances were low that the school girl came purposely here to study. So she might be a kid of the owner of this restaurant. By the way, another figure seen on the other side of the girl was not a real human being. It was a doll watching the surface of the canal silently.
