The man was a presser and just do the ironing. His iron was unplugged and seemed to be coal-fired. Not only sewing machine, but also iron were unplugged here.
It was worn-out. Yet it could be still good for another some years. The tools which was not intricate in construction was irrefrangible. Besides, it might be easy to repair. Although he noticed me focusing, he didn't cast an eye on me nor say a word. He seemed to be the silent type. Of course, what he wore was pressed perfectly.
