There was a literal pile of pitch black objects underneath the decorated wooden structure. These were pottery. This place was near the pottery square in Bhaktapur, where they dry the pottery made there.
At the pottery square, as the name suggests, there are many potters turning their wheels. The pottery is dried before it is fired. The pile of pottery was amazing, but the decoration of the building where it was placed was also magnificent. There were detailed decorations on the walls and even on the pillars. I was more interested in the decoration of the building than the pottery under the roof.
