The boy was sitting in the driver's seat of a motorcarro parked on the side of the road in Tehuantepec. A motorcarro is a common vehicle in Mexico, a motorcycle cab with a seat attached to the back. Of course, a driver's license is required to actually drive a motorcarro, and the boy was not yet old enough to drive. He just settled in the driver's seat and imitated driving. Boys everywhere love and admire things that move. When I pointed the camera at him, he smiled happily.
