Pedestrians And White Lines

Pedestrians crossing wide street

Many pedestrians were walking on the white lines

Shot in the city of Tamachi, Tokyo.

A wide street runs near the Tamachi station. It is Daiichi-Keihin. And a pedestrian crossing is built there. The white lines are drawn on the ground. The width of the pedestrian crossing is wide and the white lines are long.

I was watching the crossing from above. When the traffic light turned green, many people started to cross all together. Everybody made their way in silence. And the crossing was deserted just before the traffic light turned red. And the street was occupied by the automobiles again.
