Older Woman Relaxing In A Hall

Older woman relaxing in hall in Shwedagon Paya

The older woman sat in one of the many halls

Shot at Shwedagon Paya, a Buddhist temple in Yangon, Myanmar.

It was hot each and every day here. And it was too hot before you go any further. So the halls built in the precinct were nice places to relax for locals. They were silent because they were religious places. Besides, it was cooler relatively because many ceiling fans were working.

So it was used as not only the religious places but also places of relief. The woman in the photo was also relaxing in one of them. And I took a rest for a while in this hall, too.
