This town was small. So I came out of the town soon after strating walking. The rice fields spread in the outskirt. And the small river, probably it was a drain flew along the country road. I found an elderly woman washing a fabric in the small stream.
She hit the fabric again and again till it became clean. The fabric was probably a sinh, a Lao traditional garment for women. Because the locals didn't have any washing machines, the laundry was still an exhausting labor for women here.
