Two young men were standing next to the truck. Both of them were wearing longyis, a traditional costume. As in India, many people in Myanmar wear a waistcoat called a longy. In hot and humid climates, it may be cooler to wear trousers. I was encouraged to try it on during my trip, but I didn't want to wear it because I was afraid it might slip off at a moment's notice.
One was bent over working while the other smoked. He was smoking a cigar called a Seboleik. The man who was leisurely smoking the cigar grinned when he noticed my camera.
