Walking the street in Malda, I met a man walking a bicycle. Burdens were loaded on it. On the forepart, many carpets were put and a chair was on the rear part. The bicycle was used as a cart. I wondered whether he was on the way of the delivery of materials or he was just relocating.
Anyway, it was interesting that the way of carrying was different from each culture. People in Kathmandu valley, about 400km northwest from this city, use a rope to carry a burden. However, the rope was never seen here.
