Both father and son had the same haircut, shaved head
A father and son were nonchalantly sitting in a small store we passed in Shirdi. Both father and son had shaved heads. The father looked straight at me. But the boy was looking fearfully upward. Shirdi is the birthplace of a Hindu yoga practitioner named Shirdi Sai Baba (Sathya Sai Baba is said to be a reincarnation of this man) and is a holy place. Although many devotees come here on pilgrimage, foreigners may be rare. Indeed, I did not see anyone who looked like a foreigner when I wandered around the town.
