A zinc-walled hut stood by the roadside. It was a small general shop. I often saw this kind of shop during strolling about the streets in Bangladesh. It was high-floored because the weather was hot and humid here.
Its door was open. And I saw a man sitting at the entrance. He was the storekeeper and was at work in spite of the relaxed expression. Odd pieces of old newspaper which might be used to wrap his goods were hung beside him.
