When I walked the country road outside of Ubud, I found a souvenir shop by the roadside. Many paintings imprinted famous people were sold there.
On a rack, there were paintings on which the face of Barack Obama. Beside each face, 'HOPE' was written. The former president of the United States had lived in Indonesia from 1967 to 1971. So the local people might feel neighborly toward him.
Looking closer, Che Guevara was also there next to Obama. Both the leaders of capitalism and communist revolution met together in the souvenir shop on the Bali island.
