A couple with an umbrella was sitting close together in a recess in the walls of the fort's walls, the old town of Galle. They looked like they fit in somehow perfectly. It's already a world of just the two of them. It's a nice place to spend some time together, so there were young couples in recesses in the ramparts. It was visible from behind, but I supposed it didn't matter to those who were immersed in their own private world.
The Fort, which is still partly garrisoned by the military, is, as the name suggests, the remains of a former fortress. The hollows in places are probably embrasures. One would think that in the past, weapons would have been placed and aimed at targets outside the walls. As time goes by, it has become a date spot for couples. I think it's wonderful how this kind of time has passed.
