A girl dancing Balinese dance was standing on the boys' shoulders and posing
While walking in the center of Ubud, I came across a stage on which many young people were gathered. I stopped to see what they were doing, and it seemed that they were practicing the Balinese dance. No money was required to watch the performance. I decided to join the locals who had taken up positions around the stage and were watching the practice.
Even though it was practice, everyone on stage looked serious. Meanwhile, a young woman stood up on the shoulders of the men and began to make a show with a flamboyant gesture. She was wearing ordinary clothes, but her expression was fixed. This must have been the highlight of the dance.
