Father And His Son Selling Fruits

Street vendor and his son

The parent and child did business by the wayside

Shot in the city of Kolkata, India.

The chubby man wearing a taqiyah was sitting in front of a shuttered store. According to what he wore, he might be a Muslim. Beyond expectation, many Muslims were living in this big city.

He was a street vendor and selling fruits there. A heap of fruits, probably lemons, were piled up in front of him. While he was doing business, he was holding his son on his knees. The boy looked at me while he held a spray in his hand. I wondered for what the spray was used. Maybe it was used to retain moisture of the fruits.
