Like other Mexican towns, Tlaxcala has a central plaza called the Zocalo. Many towns in this country are built around a plaza called the Zocalo and a church that stands next to it. The shape of the Zocalo, however, is unique. The characteristic of the Zocalo in Tlaxcala is that it has a stage in the center.
Maybe it was a festival that day, a band was playing on the stage, and local people were dancing to the live music. The woman in the photo was also dancing with a man wearing glasses and a cap. The woman dancing with a bashful smile on her face looked very happy.
