The siblings sat together in the quiet church
It was quiet inside the baroque San Jose Parish Church, which stands in the center of Tlaxcala. There were hardly any worshippers. The place was rattled. A young boy and a young girl were sitting close together in the large, quiet space.
They seemed to be siblings and were whispering to each other in the empty church. Since there was no one around, I thought it would be okay to shout a little louder, but I guess these kids are usually told to be quiet in church. They kept talking in a whisper that was almost inaudible but not quite.
