Clouds Above The City Of Tlaxcala

Spires under clouds

The clouds covered the town

Shot in the city of Tlaxcala, Mexico.

The clouds floating above the city were vigor. They made shadows on the ground and I could avoid the strong sun during walking around. I heard the name of this city means 'place of tortillas' in Nahuatl.

The area around what is now the Mexican state of Tlaxcala was the territory of Tlaxcalans who spoke Nahuatl. And they served as allies to Hernán Cortés and his fellow Spanish conquistadors. That's all history now. The city is wrapped with the tranquil atmosphere.
