The former Yasuda Garden was originally a daimyo garden. It was first built in the Genroku era (1688-1704), so it has a long history. The name Yasuda comes from Zenjiro Yasuda, the founder of the Yasuda Zaibatsu, who purchased the garden in 1900.
The garden has a lot of greenery and is a very nice place to relax. As I walked along the path of the park, I saw an old-fashioned bridge at the end of the path. A mother and son were standing on the bridge. Both of them were looking at the surface of the stream flowing under the bridge. They must have found some carp swimming in the water.
