As I was walking, a group of people came walking from the other side. Walking in the middle of the group was undoubtedly a large cow. The cows are all painted yellow. The cows might be uncomfortable with the color, but for the onlookers, the color was vivid and made them feel happy.
In Pune (or in India as a whole?), yellow is said to be the color of luck, and cows are objects of worship in Hindu society. So this yellow cow was like a clump of good luck. The yellow cow that came in front of me looked at me with round eyes despite its large size. It was ruminating and drool was dripping from its mouth. The drooling cow stared at me for a while. My luck must be getting better.
