I walked around the lanes which were flanked old-fashioned brick buildings as always. Rambling along, I found some women hanging out by the wayside. It was common to see such people here. Because there were no cafes for locals, the wayside functioned as a place for social interaction.
The women were knitting together while they were enjoying chatting. I saw many women knitting by the roadside in Bhaktapur. The knitting seemed to be an important accomplishment for women.
