Umbrella In The Hard Rain

Woman walking in hard rain

The woman walked in the hard rain

Shot in the old town of Bhaktapur, Nepal.

Although the city faced a water shortage, it was raining hard on that day. I thought it was a paradoxical situation. Yet it was true.

A woman wearing a saree was walking the narrow stone-paved street while she was putting an umbrella up . The winds blew hard also. She tilted the umbrella to avoid the rain drops. I hoped this rain resolved the water poverty as much as possible. It was toilsome not to take a shower after being bathed in perspiration.
