Two women wearing a conical hat parked their bicycles by the wayside. Because the sun was strong, it was necessary to wear a hat during hawking. They were peddlers and carried many goods on their bicycles. The place where I took this photo was just in front of a big market. Yet they didn't do business in it and seemed to prefer to hawk.
There was a name board of the street and 'DONG KHOI' was written on it. In Ho Chi Minh City, there was also the street with the same name. Yet the atmosphere was very different. By the way, 'DONG KHOI' means 'uprising' in Vietnamese. I thought the name was very socialistic.
