When I entered a small cafe in Berhampore, the previous customer was sitting inside. The bearded man did not look at the newly arrived customer. He seemed completely uninterested, even though I was a foreigner, which is not common in this area. He didn't even give me a glance when I sat down close to him. To him, I was as if I didn't exist.
The man was busy thinking of something amusing or devious to do, and he was grinning a toothy grin as he gazed into the void. After a while, the man suddenly got up and walked out of the cafe. I don't know what he was thinking about, but he must have come up with something.
