I was strolling through Yu Garden, one of Shanghai's most popular tourist attractions. The garden, built in the 1500s, is said to have been created by a former government official for his father, and it seems as if the good old Chinese culture is locked inside, a stark contrast to the fast-developing, modern Shanghai.
As I walked around the traditional buildings in the garden, I stopped and a little girl came out of one of the buildings. The building, which is not barrier-free, has steps at the entrance, so she had to be careful with every step she took. I looked at the doorway from which the girl had emerged and saw that the door was decorated in the Chinese style.
