Rickshaws are a great way to explore the old townscape. You don't get tired because you're not walking, and you can take your time going around, unlike going around by car. And since they are driven by human beings, there is no chance that the passengers will miss anything worth seeing. After all, a retro rickshaw looks great in an old town.
There were a number of rickshaws parked by the side of the road in Kawagoe, where the old streets still remain. They seemed to be waiting for their turn to come. It would not be fun for the rickshaws to just sit around. They must be waiting for someone to come along and take them for a ride.
