The platform was curved and I could see through. When I was waiting for the subway coming, I found a woman also waiting on the platform. There were few people because it was a weekend. And the train was a long time coming. She was fiddling around with a cell phone.
I thought many people read books and magazines before the cell phone became common. The mobile phone seemed to take the place of them. That's why the publishing industry suffers a recession.
