As I looked into those big sparkling eyes, I felt as if he could see right through me
I held up my SLR camera to a man sitting on the side of the road in Kolkata, and he stared back at me with his crinkled eyes. He seemed to be having trouble deciding when to take his gaze off the camera, and continued to stare at the camera without saying a word.
As I continued to point my camera at the man without putting it down, it was his sparkling eyes that caught my attention. As I stared through the viewfinder, I felt as if he was looking into my dirty inner life. That's how sparkling and innocent the man's eyes looked.
