The man was just filing by the wayside
The bewhiskered man was working silently by the wayside. A machine was rotating in front of him. He was a filer. Even though I approached him, he didn't stop working. The only thing he did was to cast an eye on me. He could be busy.
During rambling along, I often met filers. So I wondered how many people wanted to do filing here. I couldn't help feeling that every Tom, Dick and Harry wanted to file.
