The bearded man started to smile when I focused
A man with a beard was sitting on the side of the road. Like the other men, he wasn't doing anything in particular. There were a lot of lazy people in the heart of Nasik, and many of them seemed to be just passing the time. But to complicate matters, the city of Nasik is also home to a Hindu holy site, so it's difficult to determine whether the loungers are locals or pilgrims. Some people reach the pilgrimage city and linger.
I didn't know if this bearded man was a pilgrim or a local. Either way, my appearance seemed to spice things up a bit. When I pointed the camera at him, the man smiled shyly.
