While walking along a street in Yangon, I saw a boy standing at a grate on one of the eaves of a house. When I pointed my camera at him, he put his hand on the grate and smiled at me. He had a guitar slung over his shoulder, and I hoped that if I stared at him, he might start to play something, but he didn't. He just looked at me with sparkling eyes. He didn't play his guitar, and the boy standing behind the bars looked like a rock star who had been taken prisoner.
