There was a school in the center of Ubud. Because it was a school break on that day, the gate was closed tightly. At any rate, the gate piers were stone-built and magnificent. A statue of Ganesha which was believed as the deity of both the business and the knowledge was seen on the roof of the school. Unlike other parts of Indonesia, the major religion was Hinduism on the isle of Bali.
