There was a large square near St. Mark's Cathedral, and government buildings surrounded the square. Young people were gathered at the entrance of one of them. I could see people with musical instruments and placards in their hands. There was a little demonstration going on.
The young woman with dreadlocks in the photo was one of the participants. She was dancing to the music playing around her. Her face was expressionless and she didn't seem to be enjoying herself, nor was she making a strong statement of principle. He was dancing silently.
The word "PRESOS" was written on his cheek. It means "prisoner" in Spanish. This demonstration may have been an appeal for better treatment of prisoners.
