I was standing at the end of the steps in front of the church in Tuxtla Gutierrez when I felt eyes on me. A young boy was staring at me. He was on the railing of the staircase, gripping the railing tightly. Is it unusual to see a foreigner? In any case, he seemed to have noticed me on his way up the stairs and stopped halfway up. The boy is looking at me. It was as if he was somehow captivated by me. Even when I pointed the camera at him, he did not move, but kept his eyes fixed on me.
