A bicycle rode past a cow lying in the middle of the roadway
I stopped at an intersection and watched a cow lying in the middle of the road. The cow didn't seem to be paying the slightest attention to the people coming and going. It was just relaxing in the middle of a busy intersection.
In the meantime, a bicycle arrived. A father was pedaling and a girl, probably the man's daughter, was sitting on the back. As they passed by the cow, the father continued pedaling as if nothing was wrong, while the girl looked at the cow lying in the middle of the intersection curiously.
In the Hindu world, cows are sacred. Therefore, cows are not treated unkindly, even if they are in the way of humans. Even though the cow in the photo was in the way of traffic, no one chased it away. It is the human beings who must be avoided here.
