Kamalapur station was a quiet place with many children playing around

Kamalapur Station, the equivalent of Dhaka's central station, was also a playground for children. Unlike in Japan, no admission ticket is required to enter the platform, so children who enter the station run around freely in the spacious premises. Some of them even climbed into a stationary train. The boy in the photo, with his upper body naked, was standing at the entrance to the train. He was looking at us and was surprised when suddenly a man with luggage passed in front of him.

Many of the children playing seem to be street children who sleep near the station. For the street children, it may be a convenient place with a roof and shelter from the wind and rain.
