I hung out near the Sealdah Railway Station. The place was busy. Many people came and went in front of me. Most of them seemed to be travelers who used the train station. Yet I saw also many laborers. Perhaps, they unloaded burdens from the trains.
The boy in this photo was one of them. He wore a vivid shirt and carried a big burden on his head. He worked along with adults. Although he was still young, he was treated as a full-fledged worker already.
I often saw boys working like him in South Asian countries. I couldn't help feeling that he was one of the victims of the child labor.
