Balls Of Pétanque

Balls of Pétanque

I found people playing Pétanque

Shot in the town of Ban Xang Hai, Laos.

Some young men were enjoying playing Pétanque by the roadside. The man was holding balls in his each hand and waiting for his turn.

Although I watched for a while, I couldn't understand the rule. I just understood it looked like bowling. Because this country was one of the French colonies, people played Pétanque originated in southern France. It was uncommon to see people playing. Yet it was included South East Asian Games.
