The boys chatting on the side of the road gave me fresh smiles
As I was strolling through the town of Nasik, I met a couple of boys chatting on the side of the road. Their smiling faces were so fresh and friendly that I took out my camera and pointed it at them, and they laughed at me without the slightest hint of disapproval.
I do not speak Hindi at all, nor Marathi, the official language of the state of Maharashtra where Nasik is located. But with a camera, I felt as if I could communicate with him.
