There was also a square called Zocalo in Tehuantepec. Every city had its own Zocalo in Mexico. The benches were placed in spots in the Zocalo and some locals were relaxing. These young people in this photo also relaxed there.
One boy and two girls were sitting on the bench in the park together. They were interested in a foreign stranger. And they told me that this was the first time for them to meet a Japanese. Few Japanese tourists seemed to come to this city. I thought it was true because this city was not mentioned in my Japanese guidebook.
