Mother On The Bridge

woman hanging out laundries

The mother was hanging out the laundry

Shot in the town of Panauti, Nepal.

A young mother was standing on the small suspension bridge with her little daughter. She was hanging out to dry there. The parapet of the bridge spanned over the small river was a laundry pole for her.

She hung them without clipping on and just put on the parapet. So I worried that her laundries might fly away and drop into the river when the strong wind blew. Perhaps, they floated down a river to far-gone India.
