The main entrance to the Cathedral, which rises in the center of Vigan, was wide open and many worshippers were entering and leaving through it, but the side doors were closed. The doors on the side of the building were closed.
Even if the door was not available, the covered entrance was convenient for meeting people because there was no need to change the place even if it rained, and a girl in a school uniform was standing there. It looks like she is waiting for her parents to pick her up. When I catch a glimpse of how common it is to drop off and pick up students from school, as is the case around here, I think of how hard it must be for the parents.
