Nio-mon Gate In Shomyo-ji

Two figures walking in front of Nio-Mon Gate

Two figures walked together in front of the Nio-Mon Gate

Shot at Shomyo-Ji, a Buddhist temple in Yokohama, Kanagawa.

A man with a stick and a woman were walking the approach in the temple. The gate in the background is Nio-mon. 'Nio' meant the guardsman of Buddha. So the gate in which Nio was placed was built at the entrance of many temples.
